The Information We Collect
We collect information directly from individuals and from third-parties and automatically through the Social Login Platform.
Account Information: When you login using Social Login on the Shopify Store using Social Login platform, we collect your name, email and other information you provide which are clearly mentioned in the consent screen screen for individual Social Login providers such as Facebook, Google, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram and Amazon. Your name, photo, and any other information that you choose to add to your public-facing profile will be available for viewing to store admin which is using Oxi Social Login platform.
Your Content: When you sign up using Oxi Social Login platform through a Social Login Network (i.e. Facebook, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Amazon), we receive certain profile and account information about you from the Social Login Provider. The Social Login information may also appear in your profile. The specific information provided to us by Social Login Provider is determined by these third parties and may vary by provider. In all cases, the permissions page for the Social Login Provider will describe information being shared. You should consult their respective privacy policies for information about their practices. You may elect to use information from the Social Login Provider to populate your profile. In general your name and email address is collected and stored by us.
Communications:Your contact information may be used to communicate with you (via e-mail, phone, text message, through the Social Login Platform or by the website admin the Social Login app is being used). When you communicate with us (via email, phone, text message, through the Oxi Social Login Platform or otherwise), we may maintain a record of your communication. By disclosing your contact information to Oxi Social Login, you consent to our use of your contact information to communicate with you.
Collecting Information About Your Activity: We collect and store the time of your login via Social Login Platform. We also collect and may store information that your computer or mobile device provides to us in connection with your use of the Oxi Social Login Platform such as your browser type, type of computer or mobile device, browser language, IP address, mobile carrier, unique device identifier, location, and requested and referring URLs.
How We Use Your Information
We do not sell your personal data– such as your name and contact information – to third parties to use for their own marketing purposes.
The information we collect can be used for the following purposes:
- Provide our Services. To provide you the Social Login services we offer on the Shopify Platform, communicate with you about your use of the Social Login, respond to your inquiries, provide troubleshooting, and for other customer service purposes.
- Marketing and Promotions. We don’t use your (customer) information to send any marketing or promotional mails, however if you’ve opted for the marketing then the Shopify Store using our services may use your information for promotional purposes, such as to send you news and newsletters, special offers, and promotions, or to otherwise contact you about products or information we think may interest you, including information about third party products and services.
- Analytics. To gather metrics to better understand how users access and use the Social Login Platform; to evaluate and improve the Social Login Platform, and to develop new products and services.
- Comply with Law. To comply with legal obligations, as part of our general business operations, and for other business administration purposes.
How We Share Your Information
Oxi Social Login is an app which providers Social Login service to the Shopify Platform. We share information as set forth below, and where individuals have otherwise consented:
Service Providers: We may share your information with third party service providers who use this information to perform services for us, such as auditors, advisors, consultants, customer service and support providers.
Business Transfers: We may disclose or transfer information, including personal information, as part of any merger, sale, and transfer of our assets, acquisition or restructuring of all or part of our business, bankruptcy, or similar event.
Legally Required: We may disclose your information if we are required to do so by law.
Protection of Rights: We may disclose information where we believe it necessary to respond to claims asserted against us or, comply with legal process (e.g., subpoenas or warrants), enforce or administer our agreements and terms, for fraud prevention, risk assessment, investigation, and protect the rights, property or safety of Oxi Apps, its users, or others.
Anonymized and Aggregated Data: We may share aggregated or de-identified information with third parties for research, marketing, analytics and other purposes, provided such information does not identify a particular individual.
Cookies, Pixels and Tracking
Oxi Social Login uses "cookies" in connection with the Site and the Service. A cookie is a small data file that the Oxi Social Login servers transfer to your computer for record-keeping purposes. Oxi Social Login uses “persistent cookies” to save your username and login password for future logins to the Site and the Service. Oxi Social Login uses “session ID cookies” to enable certain features of the Service, to better understand how you interact with the Service and to monitor web traffic routing on the Site and aggregate usage of the Service. Oxi Social Login also uses “flash cookies” to enable certain features of the Service, and to help store the non-Personally Identifiable Information we use to deliver more relevant content to you via the Site, the Service, and on other websites you may visit. Oxi Social Login also use web beacons in connection with the Site and Service. Tracking pixels (also known as “1x1 pixels” or “clear GIFs”) are small strings of code that provide a method for delivering a graphic image on a web page or in an email message for the purpose of transferring data.
Do-Not-Track Signals: Please note we do not change system behavior within the Oxi Social Login Platform in response to browser requests not to be tracked.
How We Protect Your Information
The security of your information is important to us. Oxi Social Login has implemented safeguards to protect the information we collect. However, no website or Internet transmission is completely secure. We urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe, such as logging out of your user account, and closing your web browser when finished browsing the Shopify store/Platform on a shared or unsecured device.
Access and Amend Your Information
You may update or correct your account information at any time by logging in to your account. You may also make a number of other adjustments to settings or the display of information about you as described in more detail in the following section about Your Choices.
Changing or deleting your information: Anyone with a registered Oxi Social Login account may review, update, correct or delete their information in their registration profile by logging into their account and changing the “End User preferences” associated with their account. Oxi Social Login may retain an archived copy of your records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. If you’d like Oxi Social Login to delete any information that it has on you, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Deleted or Deactivated App: If the app is deleted by Shopify store admin, then any of the app content will not be accessible to you or any 3rd party, however your content will remain on the Oxi Social Login platform. You can re-activate the app by installing the app again.
